PER CURIAM.

The charges in this case arose from an altercation that occurred outside a birthday party held at the American Legion Hall in Baton Rouge which resulted in respondent shooting and killing the victim. Respondent stood trial for second degree murder and a jury returned the responsive verdict of manslaughter. He was represented at trial, and in his subsequent appeal, by Jesse Hearin.
