Leon Angel Constructors, Inc., ("Angel"), was the general contractor for the DeSoto Parish Annex and Courthouse renovation project ("Project"). Angel entered into a contract with Kirk Knott Electric, Inc., ("Knott"), for electrical work on the project. The first phase of the project involved working on the Annex. During this phase, Angel terminated Knott's subcontract. Angel then initiated an arbitration proceeding against Knott through the American Arbitration...
