TOBIAS, Judge.

This case involves the attempted sale of a C.P.N.C.1 number that was issued by the City of New Orleans to permit its holder to operate a taxicab in and around the city.

The trial court held in favor of the plaintiff; both parties have appealed the judgment. After reviewing the record and applicable law, we reverse the trial court and enter judgment for the defendant.
