On December 11, 1996, Francis Hinson and Beverly Martin, individually and on behalf of their elderly mother, Lucille Reagan, filed suit against defendant, the Glen Oak Retirement System, d/b/a the Glen Oak Retirement Home ("the Glen"), a nursing home, alleging personal injury, breach of contract and violations of La.
