KOSTELKA, J.

Ronnie Norris ("Norris") pled guilty as charged to one count of vehicular homicide and received a sentence of seventeen years at hard labor, with the first year imposed without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. La. R.S. 14:32.1. After the denial of a timely motion to reconsider sentence, Norris appeals his sentence as constitutionally excessive. We affirm the seventeen-year term imposed but remand for modification of that portion...
