This matter arises from a suit filed by landowners against Shell Oil Company to recover damages in trespass after expiration of a surface lease which was granted to Shell, for unauthorized disposal of saltwater on the property, and for the poor condition of the leased premises. After a trial on the merits, the jury awarded damages to the landowners. The court of appeal affirmed in part, reversed in part...
