This appeal arises from a product-liability suit governed by Kansas law. Plaintiff Arvine Hiner suffered injuries in a farming accident involving a tractor and front-end loader manufactured by Defendant Deere and Company. Plaintiff's complaint alleges that the tractor and loader were defective in design and that Deere failed to issue adequate warnings concerning risks posed by the equipment.
