PROCEDURAL HISTORY

¶ 1. On May 2, 2000, Raymond Helton Friley, Jr. was indicted by the grand jury in Warren County for the sexual battery of C.M., a female minor. On November 10, 2000, a jury returned a verdict of not guilty to the charge of sexual battery, but guilty to the lesser offense of molestation.
