In the instant case, we granted a writ of certiorari to determine whether a trial judge erred in refusing to strike a prospective juror for cause. After reviewing the entire record of the prospective juror's voir dire, we conclude that the trial judge did not abuse her broad discretion when she denied the defendant's challenge for cause based on remarks the prospective juror made that allegedly revealed his bias towards police testimony.
