Defendant, Chance Ceaser,1 was charged by Bill of Information with two counts of battery of a police officer in violation of La.Rev.Stat. 14:34.2(B). The jury returned a guilty verdict on both counts, but found that the second count produced no injury requiring medical attention. The trial court sentenced defendant to two years at hard labor on the first count and gave him a concurrent sentence of six months on the second....
