We granted allocatur in this case to address whether a police officer who suffers an injury in the course of his duties, which is compensable pursuant to the statute commonly referred to as the Heart and Lung Act,1 can collect and retain, in addition to Heart and Lung Act compensation, benefits pursuant to the Workers' Compensation Act2 for the loss of earning power...
