Defendant, Jarbie Brown, was charged by bill of information with theft over $500.00 and aggravated flight from an officer, in violation of La. R.S. 14:67 B(1) and 108.1 C, respectively. He pled not guilty and, after trial by a six-member jury, was found guilty as charged on both counts.
