The City of Gabriel (City) appeals the grant of a summary judgment in favor of Michael Grant (Grant), declaring Grant wrongfully terminated on May 25, 2002. Following a review of the facts and law, this court affirms.

Grant was hired as a law enforcement peace officer for the St. Gabriel Police Department on May 17, 2001. His qualifications for the position of a peace officer were subject to the statutory requisites of La. R.S. 40:2405. That...
