Defendant was indicted on charges related to possession of drugs and a weapon. Following a guilty verdict on three felonies, he was sentenced, as a second felony offender, to prison terms of 12½ to 25 years for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, 2 1/3 to 7 years for one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, and seven years for the other count of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree...
