PER CURIAM.

Tyrone J. Skeens appeals the trial court's dismissal for untimeliness of his motion for postconviction relief filed pursuant to Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.850. We reverse and remand for the trial court to consider Skeens' motion on the merits.

In 1996, Skeens was convicted by a jury of one count of sexual battery and one count of lewd and lascivious act upon a child under sixteen. He was sentenced to fifteen years in prison on each count...
