HENRIKSEN, J.

For the reasons hereafter stated, the Court holds that the "Guardian of the Child" provisions under Sections 2330 through 2340 of Title 13 of the Delaware Code, enacted July 11, 2001 and modified July 9, 2002, comply with the "Legal Guardianship" requirements of the Federal Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997 (ASFA). As such, a guardianship established under these provisions may be an acceptable alternative to provide permanency for a dependent/neglected...
