Sara Sirotzky hired the Bernstein firm to give her investment advice, pursuant to a contract that provided for arbitration under the arbitration rules of the New York Stock Exchange of any dispute arising out of the contract. Sure enough, a dispute arose and Sirotzky invoked arbitration, seeking $242,000 in damages.
