WOLLMAN, Circuit Judge.

Ronald Brooks appeals the district court's1 grant of summary judgment on Brooks's claims of race discrimination against his employer, Ameren UE (Ameren). The district court concluded that Brooks failed to advance sufficient evidence that Ameren's proffered reasons for not promoting Brooks were pretextual. We affirm.
