Michael James Hardy pled guilty to possession of ammunition by a felon in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(g)(1) and 924(e) and was sentenced to 180 months' imprisonment. Hardy asserts that he provided substantial assistance to the government pursuant to the terms of his plea agreement and that the government breached this agreement by refusing to move for a downward departure under 18 U.S.C. § 3553(e) and U.S.S.G. § 5K1.1...
