On March 15, 2002, Andrew John Harwood stopped his car at a police roadblock in Henry County. After a police dog alerted positively for the presence of drugs in the car, the car was searched and marijuana was found inside, as well as on the person of Harwood's passenger, Brandi McLucas. Harwood was charged with DUI of marijuana, and McLucas was charged with possession of marijuana. They moved to suppress the evidence against them, arguing that it resulted...
