Becky Rae Manning filed an action against Deborah A. Wood ("Wood") and her son, Larkin D. Wood, II ("Larkin"), for personal injuries she sustained while a passenger in a car driven by Larkin. In her action, Manning alleged that Larkin lost control of the vehicle and that she was ejected when the vehicle rolled over.
