Willie Hall was convicted of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Because Hall had five prior felony convictions (all obtained through negotiated guilty pleas), he was sentenced as a recidivist pursuant to OCGA § 17-10-7(c).
