After a trial, a jury found Casey Marie Yirkovsky guilty of being an unlawful user of a controlled substance in possession of a firearm, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(3) (2000), and possessing an unregistered firearm, in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 5861(d) (2000).
