MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

KENNELLY, District Judge.

John Carroccia was arrested and charged with the murder of Gregory Sears, a Sergeant in the Hampshire, Illinois Police Department. He was tried and acquitted. Carroccia now brings suit in this Court seeking redress for violations of his constitutional rights that he claims occurred during the police investigation of Sears' murder and his trial for that crime.
