We granted certiorari to consider the issue of when, for purposes of § 5-201 of the Courts and Judicial Proceedings Article,1 a minor become an adult—the day before the minor's eighteenth birthday or on the day of the birthday? We shall hold, consistent with the common law rule (the coming of age rule) for computing a person's age, the day that the person was born is included...
