Plaintiff RBC Mortgage Company ("RBC") filed suit in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois against defendant Brent Couch ("Couch"), alleging that Couch breached an employment agreement by soliciting RBC's clients and employees and by disclosing confidential information. Couch moved for dismissal for lack of personal jurisdiction, which the Circuit Court denied, and then removed this case...
