¶ 1. Maurice Ferguson was found guilty in the Circuit Court of Washington County, Mississippi of armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was sentenced to serve a term of life imprisonment, as an habitual offender in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Aggrieved by his conviction, Ferguson has appealed and raised the following issues:
