Ruth Lee and Michael Sandmeyer were convicted by a jury of possessing with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a substance containing methamphetamine. See 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1), (b)(1)(A)(viii). In addition, Mr. Sandmeyer was convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm. See 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1).
