Jerry Lee Jones was arrested after a police officer observed him picking up rocks of cocaine from the ground. A search incident to arrest yielded a crack pipe with cocaine residue. Jones was charged with two counts of possession of cocaine, one count for the cocaine residue on the pipe, and the second count for the rocks of cocaine he was attempting to pick up when the officer observed him.
