The defendant, Jerry Hall, was charged by bill of information on April 9, 2001, with one count of armed robbery in violation of La. R.S. 14:64. The defendant pleaded not guilty at his April 12, 2001, arraignment. On June 5, 2002, a twelve-person jury found the defendant guilty as charged.
