In Kambury v. DaimlerChrysler Corp., 334 Or. 367, 374, 50 P.3d 1163 (2002), the Supreme Court held that, when a defective product causes a person's death, the two-year statute of limitations for product liability actions rather than the three-year statute for wrongful death actions applies to a product liability claim.
