In 1991, defendant was convicted of attempted rape in the first degree, aggravated sexual abuse in the first degree, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, for which he was sentenced to an indeterminate term of imprisonment of 10 to 30 years. Upon his appeal, this Court remanded the case to County Court for a speedy trial hearing (215 A.D.2d 864 [1995]) and, thereafter, affirmed defendant's conviction...
