¶ 1. This civil action is an appeal by Missala Marine Services, Inc. (Missala) following a jury verdict rendered in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Mississippi. The judgment awarded Jenny Kay Odom compensatory damages of $120,000 and punitive damages of an additional $120,000. An amended final judgment added attorney's fees and expert witness fees, increasing the total judgment in Odom's favor to $318,797.90. Aggrieved by...
