Robert Cisar (Cisar) sued Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. (Home Depot) for injuries he sustained after using a chain saw purchased from Home Depot. Cisar's wife, Dr. Suzanne Munns (Munns), brought a related loss of consortium claim against Home Depot. Cisar's and Munns's claims were tried to a jury, which returned a verdict in Home Depot's favor.
