This is a medical malpractice case arising from the death of Catherine Alphonse, a seventy-five year old patient of North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, Louisiana. Named as defendants are Acadian Ambulance Service, Inc. (Acadian), and Leslie Pray and Chad Dauzat, the two emergency medical technicians employed by Acadian and involved in the transport of Ms. Alphonse from North Oaks Medical Center to North Oaks Rehabilitation Center, an extended care...
