Employer Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) appeals from the order of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County (common pleas), which denied its petition to vacate an arbitration award, ordering the award confirmed instead. The award reinstated grievant John Lafferty as an employee of PGW without loss of pay, finding that Lafferty did not violate PGW's residency requirement by staying in the City of Philadelphia several nights a week...
