This case arises out of an automobile accident in Natchitoches, Louisiana on the evening of November 17, 2000. Kerry Clark was driving on Whitfield Drive. As he approached the intersection of Whitfield Drive and East Fifth Street, he dropped a pair of side shields for glasses.
