HUMPHREYS, Judge.

John H. Pound appeals a judgment of the trial court, finding him ineligible to receive benefits pursuant to the Virginia Law Officer's Retirement System ("VaLORS"), Code § 51.1-211 et seq. Pound contends that his status as a "special game warden" was sufficient to place him within the relevant provisions of Title 51.1, which create and govern VaLORS. For the reasons that follow, we affirm the judgment of the trial court.
