Robert Snider appeals a judgment convicting him of first-degree sexual assault of a child. He also appeals an order denying postconviction relief. The issues are (1) whether WIS. STAT. § 908.08 (2001-02)1 precludes a trial court from admitting a child-victim's videotaped statement under the residual hearsay exception; (2) whether Snider's counsel rendered ineffective assistance by not requesting an instruction...
