This case involves a donation of approximately 15,000 acres of land to the State of Louisiana in 1911. The heirs of the original donees appeal the trial court's judgment finding they failed to prove seismic activity authorized under the auspices of the State was sufficient to vitiate the donation and revert the property to the heirs.
