¶ 1 When a psychiatric resident conducts the mandatory examination of an individual who is the subject of a petition for court-ordered, involuntary evaluation or treatment, Arizona Revised Statutes ("A.R.S.") section 36-501(11)(a) (2003) requires that the resident be supervised in the examination.
