Defendant, Robert "Bob" Odom, the Commissioner of the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry, was indicted by a grand jury and charged with 21 counts of various felony offenses including public bribery, conspiracy to commit public bribery, felony theft, conspiracy to commit felony theft, extortion, malfeasance in office, maintaining false public records, money laundering and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
