Jamie Earl Mowell was found guilty by a jury of second degree murder, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, and being a felon in possession of a firearm, in association with the shooting death of Jeremy Cade. After a motion for new trial was overruled, the district court sentenced Mowell to a term of imprisonment and Mowell appealed.
