Horace Bell, Jr., appeals his convictions of felony murder, criminal discharge of a firearm at an occupied motor vehicle, and criminal damage to property. He contends that the district court should have instructed the jury on self-defense and involuntary manslaughter, his taped and written statements should have been suppressed, and that insufficient evidence supported his felony-murder conviction.
