Golf Club of Georgia, Inc. sued former member Jim Bonem to collect on a "Promissory Note for installment plan of nonrefundable memberships." In his answer, Bonem denied that he was obligated under the note, and he filed a counterclaim for the $15,000 he had paid toward his initiation fee.
