¶ 1. Clarence Troy Watson was found guilty by a Harrison County jury of the crime of forcible rape. The trial judge sentenced Watson to twelve years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Watson filed a post-trial motion for a JNOV, or in the alternative, for a new trial. This motion was denied, and Watson has appealed. He argues on appeal that his right to a speedy trial was violated and that the evidence is insufficient...
