CALABRIA, Judge.

Mabrey Smith Motor Company ("defendant") appeals an opinion and award issued by the North Carolina Industrial Commission ("Commission") awarding Garland Joyner("plaintiff") total disability benefits, medical expenses, and attorneys' fees for plaintiff's work-related injuries resulting from a motor vehicle accident. We affirm.
