WIENER, Circuit Judge:

After a trial in which the jury found for the Plaintiff-Appellee DIJO, Inc. and awarded it $8 million in damages, the Defendants-Appellants appeal, alleging numerous errors that purportedly occurred in the district court. For the reasons explained below, we affirm the judgment on the jury's finding of liability but remand for a new trial on the issue of damages.
