Miguel R. Mendoza, Jr. and Michael R. Clinton were each charged in various counts contained in a ten-count superceding indictment charging drug conspiracy, drug distribution, and possession of a firearm in connection with drug trafficking. Mendoza proceeded to trial and was convicted of the charges against him. The district court1 sentenced Mendoza to 360 months imprisonment. Clinton pleaded guilty to the conspiracy...
