On September 24, 1999, the plaintiff, Leroy Lewis, filed a "Petition for Damages for Breach of Contract" against the defendants, Kenton Hill and National Remodeling Center, L.L.C. ("NRC"). Mr. Lewis filed an Amended Petition for Damages on January 11, 2000. Kenton Hill filed an exception of no right or cause of action, and NRC filed exceptions of lack of subject matter jurisdiction and/or prematurity. A hearing on the exceptions was held...
